COEH-CE provides educational opportunities for physicians. Topics have included Climate Change and Health, and Emerging Issues and Practices in Workers’ Compensation.

 

COEH is accredited by the Institute for Medical Quality/ California Medical Association (IMQ/CMA) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. COEH takes responsibility for the content, quality, and scientific integrity of the CME activities offered by our program. COEH designates certain   courses for the maximum AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM listed in the course description for each class. This credit may also be applied to the CMA Certification in Continuing Medical Education.

Medical Treatment Utilization Schedule

Physicians treating in the California workers' compensation system are required to follow the evidence-based recommendations in the DWC medical treatment utilization schedule (MTUS). The online course below provides helpful instruction. In the first training module, learn to maximize patient recovery, function, and return-to-work considerations using the MTUS.
